Jeffrey Perea, managing director, brings over 25 years of experience advising real estate businesses, including casinos, hospitality, home builders, and restaurant chains.
Jeffrey’s expertise spans evaluating business plan viability, conducting in-depth analysis of short- and long-term cash flow projections, and developing detailed five-year financial forecasts. He advises on financing and debt restructuring strategies, implements reorganization and cost-cutting initiatives, provides litigation support services, and prepares valuations across a range of scenarios.
He has significant experience serving in interim management roles and as a financial advisor. Notably, he advised Sunland Casino and Foxwoods Casino and Hotel, and has also worked with the Riviera Hotel and Casino, Mesquite Gaming, Greektown, Aliante Casino, Jerry’s Nugget, and Rock/Jack Gaming. Beyond gaming and hospitality, Jeffrey has advised American West Homes in its restructuring and successful sale to Pulte Homes in Las Vegas.
Before joining Getzler Henrich, Jeffrey led the Gaming and Hospitality Services Practice at Conway MacKenzie/Riveron. His earlier roles included financial advisory positions with XRoads Solutions Group, Province Advisors, Ernst & Young, and Deloitte & Touche.
Jeffrey earned his MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles and a BA from California State University, Northridge. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds the Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) and Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) designations.
