George Gerstein

Gerstein, managing director of Getzler Henrich’s Information Technology Advisory Services Group, leads fraud identification and prevention services, and has over thirty years experience in technology consulting. He specializes in financial data integrity and reporting systems, inventory costing and unit controls, manufacturing and distribution systems, information technology project management, systems and software integration and implementation, and information technology security. George is a certified fraud examiner and a forensic certified public accountant, and has revamped the information technology strategy, controls, and implementation process at many companies. He also assesses clients’ information technology investment during purchase negotiations, and has created new stand-alone companies for complex business systems. Mr. Gerstein started his career in technology with Arthur Andersen and Price Waterhouse, and he has both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from American University. George is also a certified public accountant, and a certified information technology professional. He was recently the president of a mid-sized consulting practice in the New York area.
