Gail Long
Gail R. Long, senior consultant, focuses on the firm’s business development in the M&A community, and brings 30 years of experience in private equity investing, corporate banking, mezzanine debt, and leveraged-buyout finance. She has a wide range of industry experience including specialized lending for consumer, automotive and heavy machinery, metals, and healthcare industries. Prior to joining Getzler Henrich, she was chief executive officer at the Association for Corporate Growth in Boston, and served as executive vice president of specialized banking at Citizens Bank of Massachusetts, where she also oversaw large corporate lending for New England. Ms. Long has also been president of Citizens Capital and founded Eagle Mezzanine Partners, a pledge fund providing mezzanine financing backed by BancBoston Capital. She spent 19 years at BankBoston and, during her tenure, managed both the acquisition finance and large corporate groups. Gail graduated from Tulane University and obtained her master’s degree in business administration from Simmons School of Management. She also holds a masters degree from Boston University.
