Abraham Getzler
Abraham Getzler, chairman and founder of Getzler Henrich, is one of the nation’s most experienced professionals in middle market turnarounds and corporate restructuring. A pioneer in the industry, Abe founded the company in 1968. He has since helped hundreds of distressed and troubled firms identify and resolve crippling structural, financial and operational problems both domestically and internationally. His experience and leadership permeate the Getzler Henrich culture and imbue the organization with an overriding focus on maximizing value for its clients. A graduate of New York University, Abe is widely published and is a sought-after speaker at conferences and seminars dedicated to corporate restructuring.

Joel Getzler
Joel Getzler, Vice Chairman, joined Getzler Henrich in 1990 following a position at Midland Montague Ventures where he led a merchant banking team that invested close to $500 million in middle market manufacturing and media companies. Joel brings to clients his deep expertise in corporate mergers and acquisitions, financing, and deal negotiations. At Getzler Henrich, he has guided numerous company turnarounds and workouts, and has served as interim chief executive officer for several firms. Joel has served on the board of directors of a number of companies, including Miramax Films. He is a graduate of Queens College.

William H. Henrich
William Henrich, Vice Chairman, provides clients the benefit of his more than twenty years of experience in turnaround and crisis management, loan workout and bankruptcy consulting. He is highly experienced in helping debtors restructure their businesses, improving operations, boosting cash flow and profitability and maximizing recovery for stakeholders. Prior to joining Getzler Henrich, Bill was managing director of the New York practice of Executive Sounding Board Associates Inc. Bill also served in Arthur Andersen’s corporate recovery services group, and in 1982, started their New York bankruptcy and restructuring practice. He is a former president of the Turnaround Management Association’s New York chapter and frequently lectures and writes on turnaround and bankruptcy issues. A Certified Public Accountant, Bill also holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree from Baruch College, City University of New York.

Marc Adelson
Marc Adelson brings more than 25 years of experience in assisting middle market companies find solutions to operational difficulties, and in providing restructuring and reorganization advice. He has an excellent overview of the dynamics of corporate finance, having worked with and conducted negotiations among all constituencies of the capital structure. As a managing director based in New York, Marc will apply his domestic and international experience to solve problems for our clients wherever they occur. Prior to joining Getzler Henrich, Marc served as president of CIT’s New York-based $8 billion asset-based lending group. He was also senior managing director in London responsible for certain lending and mergers and acquisitions initiatives, and was a board director of CIT Bank, LTD. He has a wide range of industry experience, having worked with numerous companies in areas as diverse as trucking, consumer products, apparel, retail and equipment leasing. Marc’s broad background equips him well to help develop new business opportunities for the firm. While at CIT, Marc also served as the national head of new business development, leading a team which generated consistent year-over-year growth. Many of these transactions took place in troubled or turnaround situations. Prior to his roles at CIT, Marc spent thirteen years at Heller Financial Inc. A graduate of Brooklyn College, he holds a bachelor of science in accounting.

Thomas J. Dixon
Thomas J. Dixon, a turnaround veteran with over twenty years of experience, is an industry executive who has held significant leadership roles in both consulting engagements and interim management, where’s he’s acted as chief restructuring officer and chief operating officer. As a director at Getzler Henrich, Tom is responsible for business analysis, restructuring plan development and execution, and process improvement, helping to reposition clients for future growth and profitability. Tom's experience has concentrations in manufacturing, engineering and supply chain management in a wide array of industries, including automotive, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, industrials, steel, and retail. Tom has an extensive background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Kaizen, as well as financial analysis, purchase contract negotiations and collective bargaining. His career path includes tenures at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Glass & Associates, and Huron Consulting Group's Restructuring practice. Tom holds an MBA with a finance concentration from the University of Connecticut; a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Haven; and an operations strategy certificate from Harvard. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Peter A. Furman
Peter Furman is a Getzler Henrich crisis manager and financial advisor with more than twenty years of turnaround, interim management and bankruptcy experience across a variety of industries. His experience with both publicly-held as well as privately-owned companies includes manufacturing, distribution, retail and media enterprises. He also has significant Chapter 11 expertise and has acted as chief restructuring officer in varied and complex situations. Peter has a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a certificate in the theory of accounting from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He is also a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

George S. Gerstein
George S. Gerstein is a managing director with over thirty years experience in technology consulting specializing in financial data integrity and reporting systems; inventory costing and unit controls; manufacturing and distribution systems; IT project management, systems and software integration and implementation; and IT security. He was recently the president of a mid-sized consulting practice in the New York area. Recent assignments include revamping the IT strategy, controls, and implementation process at a well-known candy manufacturer within three months. For a national roadside assistance company, George assessed the IT investment during purchase negotiations and was responsible for extracting call and data centers from a complex banking system to create a new stand-alone company – all within eight months. George started his career in technology with Arthur Andersen and Price Waterhouse, and he has both bachelors and masters degrees in business from American University. George is also a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Information Technology Professional, and a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Lee Goldberg
Lee Goldberg has served as chief executive officer, chief restructuring officer, or financial advisor to an extensive number of manufacturing, distribution and retail businesses. He has completed numerous assignments for boards of directors, shareholders and investment funds, resulting in a strong track record of successful turnarounds and significant value enhancement for his clients. Lee is an expert in driving business plan metrics, assessing business plans, maximizing operating cash flow and completing operational improvements. Lee has been a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School. He is a former partner in the business restructuring group at Coopers & Lybrand, and also a former senior credit officer at Bank of Boston. Lee holds both a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting from Northeastern University, and a master’s degree in business administration with a major in international finance from Boston College. A Certified Turnaround Professional, he is a past president and founder of the Northeast Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.

Robert Gorin
Robert Gorin, a senior director, brings twenty years of client-centric focus to business strategy and operations through his work in corporate turnarounds, process design and improvement, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and management consulting. Prior to joining Getzler Henrich, Rob was president and general manager of Camlog Biotechnologies, a dental industry supplier, where he established a U.S. presence and led an aggressive international growth program by re-aligning distribution channels and organizational design to achieve thirty percent annual growth. Robert was also president and chief operating officer of EGC, Inc., a consumer goods wholesaler, distributor and importer. Earlier in his career, Robert served in multiple leadership roles with Chase Manhattan Bank, including positions with the company's merger office and the strategy and implementation team for the retail branch network. In addition to these hands-on positions, Rob held senior roles with two major consulting firms, ensuring that his clients developed effective strategies and reaped value from their infrastructure investments. He holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from The Wharton School.

Barry Green
Barry Green brings to Getzler Henrich’s clients more than 20 years of experience as both a turnaround consultant and CFO. Working with both entrepreneurial and mature companies based primarily in the U.S. and Europe, Barry brings his operational and financial expertise to bear on assisting distressed companies across a range of industries including consumer products, distribution, manufacturing, media, hotels, engineering, professional services and real estate management. Marjorie Kaufman
Margie has provided turnaround and interim management services for companies around the country for over twenty years, and frequently serves in chief restructure officer and chief financial officer positions. She has provided cash flow management services, conducted business plan viability analyses, designed and steered turnaround action plans, managed debt and equity placement, and sourced refinancing. Her expertise in forensic accounting is a valuable asset in many engagements. Margie’s management positions have spanned industries including retail, distribution, manufacturing, and food and beverage. She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Bridgeport. A Certified Turnaround Professional, Margie has been the president and director of the northeast chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and now is a member of the past president's council for the chapter. Zave Kubersky
Zave Kubersky joined Getzler Henrich following his eight year tenure as senior vice president and controller of The Equitable Group. Zave’s experience in finance, mergers and acquisitions, law and negotiations has equipped him with a unique combination of analytical, transactional and operational skills. A former public affairs fellow at the Brookings Institute, Zave is a graduate of the advanced management program at Harvard Business School and holds an LLB from Fordham University.

Fred Langer
Fred Langer leads the firm’s LeanSigma practice. A manufacturing expert for more than 25 years, he specializes in driving process improvement and manufacturing efficiency. Prior to joining Getzler Henrich, he worked for more than eighteen years at Allied Signal, which developed a global reputation for utilizing Six Sigma to drive corporate culture, growth, and excellence. During his tenure at Allied Signal, Fred was a design engineer and was the deputy program manager of the space station program and the program manager of the IRIDIUM Program. After being appointed director of operational excellence, Fred played a key role in implementing the Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing program for Allied Signal Aerospace Defense & Space Systems, where he was responsible for 125 Six Sigma Black Belts, 6 Master Black Belts and seven manufacturing plants. He established Getzler Henrich’s unique implementation process which focuses on “speed, sustainability and the ability to continuously improve”, and has applied this process to more than forty challenged and healthy companies to save millions of dollars in their implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. In one notable example, production cycle time for a company’s product was reduced from three weeks to only three minutes. Fred has guided plant consolidations, and managed distribution center optimization. He has led due diligence efforts on behalf of many private equity firms in categories such as metal fabrication and assembly, injection molding, chemical processing, warehousing and distribution, healthcare services, and administrative transactions. Fred has also held key interim manufacturing and distribution management roles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the City College of New York and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Fred is a member of the Turnaround Management Association.

Gail Long
Gail Long has 29 years of experience in private equity investing, corporate banking, mezzanine debt, and leveraged-buyout finance. She most recently held the title of chief executive officer at the Association for Corporate Growth in Boston. Previously Gail served as an executive vice president of specialized banking at Citizens Bank of Massachusetts, where she also oversaw New England large corporate lending. She was also president of Citizens Capital, the bank’s $450 million private equity subsidiary. Prior to joining Citizens, Gail founded Eagle Mezzanine Partners, a pledge fund providing mezzanine financing backed by BancBoston Capital. She spent nineteen years at BankBoston and during her tenure there managed both the acquisition finance and large corporate groups. Gail also created and led three specialized lending groups: retail and apparel, restaurant, and automotive and heavy machinery. Additionally, she spent three years advising lenders working with under-performing companies. She has a wide range of industry experience, having had responsibility for metals and healthcare portfolios, as well as expertise in manufacturing and business services companies. While at Citizens Capital, Gail served on the boards of Aerosat Corporation, Sensitech Corporation, and Animation Technology. Gail graduated from Tulane University and obtained her MBA from Simmons School of Management; she also holds a master’s degree from Boston University.

Dino Mauricio
Dino Mauricio leads the firm's mergers and acquisitions integration practice and brings twenty years experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions, private equity investing and management consulting. Prior to joining Getzler Henrich, Dino was managing director of mergers and acquisitions at General Electric, leading global acquisitions and integration teams for several of their commercial finance and industrial businesses. In this role, he developed many of GE's core acquisition integration frameworks recognized as industry best practices, and represented General Electric on the Conference Board's “council of business development and integration executives”, joining other Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, Dow Chemical and Cisco. Previously, Dino led middle-market private equity investments at the Berkshire Group. He advised growth companies on mergers and acquisitions strategies and strategic planning at LEK Consulting, and worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Dino is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School.

Tyler Mayoras
Tyler Mayoras is a managing director with nearly twenty years of financial and crisis management experience in industries such as food processing, consumer products, distribution, specialty retailing and logistics. Tyler also possesses significant experience providing due diligence, value creation and merger integration services. Prior to Getzler Henrich, Tyler managed portfolio investments in the private equity industry. He also served in interim management roles, turning around and restructuring portfolio companies. Tyler was a principal at Mars Equities Group, a private equity firm focused on acquiring underperforming or distressed middle market companies in the Midwestern U.S. Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. L. Frank Melazzo
Frank Melazzo, managing director of Getzler Henrich’s Charlotte office, is an accomplished workout professional, having steered companies to improved financial health and guided financial institutions to recovery. Before joining Getzler Henrich, Frank was Fleet Capital Corp.’s midwest region head of workouts, where he was responsible for managing troubled loans. Prior to Fleet, Frank managed the Chicago office of Bank of America Business Credit, where he led portfolio management and asset-based loan development. Previously, for Chrysler Capital, Frank ran the national mergers and acquisitions group, managed several additional lines of business and conducted the work-out and orderly wind-down of the firm’s portfolio. Frank began his career with Deloitte & Touche before moving on to Barclays American Business Capital, where he was the northeast regional manager. Frank earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting at Auburn University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Commercial Finance Association.

Andrew Miller
Andrew Miller is a director in the firm’s restructuring practice. Andrew is a generalist focusing on operational situations and interim management roles across a variety of industries. He also has particular expertise in big-box distribution and transportation businesses. Andrew has worked with various businesses manufacturing and distributing products to big-box retailers; these products include textiles, apparel, jewelry, toys, and consumer products as well as both generic, licensed, and private-label goods. He has also worked with a number of transportation concerns including both flat-bed and chemical hauling operations as well as service providers to the transportation space. Andrew has served as Chief Restructuring Officer, interim Chief Financial Officer, and as an advisor to the firm’s clients. Prior to joining the firm, Andrew served in the US Peace Corps in Kenya as a technical advisor to a USAID project advising banks, farmers, and grain traders on the financing of agricultural commodities. Additionally, he has held consulting positions at Development Specialists and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Andrew is a graduate of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Colleen Palmer
Colleen Palmer, managing director, possesses over 25 years experience in restructuring and financing solutions for companies with operational challenges and capital restructuring needs. Previously a managing director for GE Commercial Finance, Ms. Palmer launched their European-based restructuring and corporate lending business, and spent an additional three years developing GE’s retail lending and restructuring business for the western half of the United States. Ms. Palmer also served in numerous capacities at Heller Financial Inc. in both leveraged finance and asset-based lending. Her positions included portfolio manager, loan work-outs, senior risk officer and loan syndication. She has extensive debt restructuring expertise both in- and out-of court, as well as strategy development, business building, and profit and loss management experience. Ms. Palmer received a master’s degree from the Keller Graduate School of Management, a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois in Chicago and has served on the boards of directors at both the Turnaround Management Association and American Bankruptcy Institute. She speaks frequently on global restructuring and turnaround issues, and has been published in the ABL Journal and TMA Journal.

Stephan M. Pinsly
Stephan Pinsly, managing director, is a veteran executive with operational and financial experience in public and privately owned middle market corporations, who has been providing strategic turnaround leadership for more than 30 years. Through numerous consultative and interim management roles, Stephan has accumulated a wealth of experience in solving intricate cost accounting issues, difficult debt re-financings, and complex business viability issues, as well as the installation of cash flow management techniques and operational metrics. Stephan also has hands-on and strategic experience performing interim roles as chief restructuring officers, chief financial officer, chief operating officer and chief executive officer. Mark Podgainy
Mark Podgainy, director, has fifteen years of experience in operational roles and turnaround consulting for a variety of industries. He has provided services that include operations restructuring, performance improvement, turnaround management, bankruptcy consulting and forensic investigation. Under Mark’s leadership, underperforming and distressed companies have been operationally and financially transformed into stable platforms for growth and profitability. Julien Renaud
Julien Renaud is a senior director and seasoned turnaround professional with a proven track record in operations management, strategic planning, quality systems improvement, business turnarounds, total quality management and customer relations. As an expert in implementing Lean and Six Sigma manufacturing strategies and methodologies for a variety of organizations, Julien has repeatedly increased plant profitability and maximized bottom-line profits in both domestic and international markets for companies in the textile, automotive, and electronic industries. Utilizing his multi-lingual skills in French and Spanish he has led, managed and directed several successful product launches and plant start-ups, on time and within specified budgets, including the development of a variety of new manufacturing technologies to improve operating performance. Michael Roth
Michael Roth, managing director, leads the marketing and sales practice at Getzler Henrich and is a recognized expert in turnaround management and growth acceleration. He has 25 years of experience and has consulted and/or served as the interim head of marketing and sales for several middle market companies including O-Cedar Brands, H. Warshow & Son Textiles, Marcal Paper Goods, Hinson, and HMG Worldwide. Michael has also served as the head of business strategy for a consumer division of Pfizer and in a variety of capacities at Revlon, including vice-president of marketing and vice-president of trade marketing. Michael began his career at Playtex where he gained a reputation for being especially talented at bringing growth to portfolios that had previously been in decline for many years. Michael’s other consulting credits include assignments for Kraft-Nabisco, Schering-Plough, ConAgra, Revlon, GlaxoSmithKline, Coca-Cola, L’Oreal, Duane Reade and Longs Drug Stores. Michael has an MBA in marketing from New York University and a bachelor's degree from Yeshiva University.

Mark G. Samson
Mark Samson, managing director, is a veteran with more than 25-years of experience working with U.S. and foreign retail, distribution and manufacturing companies. Leveraging expertise in both crisis management and operations, Mark led the successful turnaround of a New York retail chain; in South Africa, founded a specialty retailer that became the largest in the industry; and currently serves on an American Stock Exchange public company board. He has significant Composition (out of court) and Chapter 11 experience. From 1984 to 2000, Mark served as executive chairman and chief executive officer of Debjon and Sidcor Group, and as co-president of MQM. Mark has also served on the board of a joint venture between an emerging market government, private enterprise, and the World Bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and marketing from the University of South Africa. Mark is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
